WORK EXPERIENCE

AI Geoscience. (https://aigeoscience.com) Calgary, AB

Founder / President - May 2018 - Current

Brett Montague Consulting Inc. *via* Cabra Consulting LTD. Calgary, AB

Geologist - Oct 2010 - Current

During my employment through Cabra, I have been responsible for identification of oil and gas zones in core and cuttings for vertical, directional and horizontal wells, correlation with offset wells to identify geological markers and core points, supervision of logging while drilling and the use of core and cuttings along with drilling parameters, gas detector and MWD data to determine optimal wellbore placement. My role also requires the witnessing and supervision of wireline, wireline log interpretation, conventional, wireline and sidewall coring and preparation of striplogs and end of well geological reports. Operated in a variety of plays across the WCSB, including the Viking, Bakken, Mannville, Wilrich and Muskwa.

ARC Resources (S.E. Saskatchewan Team). Calgary, AB

Summer-Student Geologist May 2010 - Sept 2010

At ARC, I worked on a variety of projects under the supervision of two geologists. I was engaged in geological mapping, core and cuttings analysis and interpretation, as well as reservoir characterization and exploration projects. As a major summer project, I participated in developing a geological prospect through exploration, seismic acquisition, landsale and geologic prognosis phases, including supporting engineering and geophysical work on the prospect. Projects were based within the Williston Basin, centered on S.E. Saskatchewan and S.W. Manitoba.
